August 2005 News Letter

Dear Friends,

Praise the Lord for His constant watch care! It is amazing how that the Lord works through the many, seemingly impossible, obstacles. We are pleased to report that 8 have made a profession of faith! The Bible Training Center will open May, 2006, as scheduled. We will be short on instructors but, at this point, will be able to train the five students with the funds we have for the first year. If you are retired, (by man's definition because the Lord's retirement plan is stepping on the shores of Heaven) and have the ability to teach, you would be a vital asset for the reaching of the Asian continent.

We realize that all cannot help in the teaching but might be able to help one called to preach to make it through Bible school. The cost per student is $100 per month, which covers all their expenses for the school year.

Praise the Lord, a piece of property we have been praying for has become available. This is about 4 acres and is situated directly behind the Bible Center. My hope and prayer was and is to build the dormitory for the Bible students on this portion of land. The legal process on the foundation for the work is nearing completion and has been a time-consuming and expensive ordeal. Pray the Lord will help us to continue to overcome the difficulties that are ahead of us. The foundation has nothing to do with the starting of the Bible School, but will open the way for our grade school through high school, starting in the (prayerfully) near future. We are excited that several people from the States have stated their desire to attend the Bible Center and others are inquiring about the Bible School.

We have a young lady that had visited with us (October 2004 newsletter) a couple years ago. Emerald Stanley, at the age of 12, had surrendered to serve in Thailand during a conference I had preached. She was able to visit us for several months at the age of 16. She amazed all of us with her maturity and God-given ability to play and teach piano, voice and English. Emerald has nearly completed her Bible institute training and will join us in January, 2006. We have a slight problem-HER SUPPORT! Due to her being single and her age it would be nearly impossible for her to raise the needed support. I would ask that some of our supporting churches and individuals pick her up for support. She will be in a "helps" capacity, and is vitally needed. She is willing to serve- - would the Lord have you to help her? Should the Lord lead you to help, you can send your contribution payable to R.W.F.C, and note amount in memo "for Emerald $ (dollar amount)."

Please remember the January 10-20, 2006. Missions Conference in Thailand. Deadline for the nonrefundable deposit is September 15, 2005. We again thank you for your faithful prayers and support.
